Youth Adjudication Event

KCC is hosting a youth adjudication event Saturday January 14 2012.  This event is available for area youth to perform in quartets or small ensembles and they will receive 20 minuets of coaching per category.(Music,Performance,Singing)  There is no costs for this event and is open to groups that are either all male or all female.

Regional Youth Festivals

                Youth festivals are opportunities for High School age singers (male and female) to spend a Saturday learning about the Barbershop style of music and performance.  Youth music directors and clinicians are brought in from around the region to help provide a very positive experience.  The day includes morning and afternoon clinics/rehearsals with performances in the afternoon or evening.  The performance includes one or two combined songs with all performers on stage.

                YHCamp@HCEast is the premier youth harmony event in the region.  No expense is spared in bringing in top talent and educators to work with the young people and help develop their talent and help to maximize their performance capability.  Not all work over this weekend!  There are many opportunities for them to socialize and sing with other High School students as well as many seasoned Barbershop veterans.    This event is held on the campus of Salisbury University in Salisbury, MD.  Food and housing is included in the tuition and there are scholarship opportunities available to help make this more affordable for the students.  Please see your Youth In Harmony contact for more information.
